CLEAN RIVER, HEALTHY COMMUNITIES
Welcome to the Muddy Water Initiative. We are a direct action, advocacy and educational clearinghouse for Boston’s Muddy River.
Environmentalists, stakeholders, and stewards of the Muddy River, we pilot low-cost, community accessible, climate-resilient projects that keep our River clean and our communities healthy. By working for the health of our urban waterways, we honor the legacy of Frederick Law Olmsted and his visionary design of a sparkling Emerald Necklace.
